Shipping

Shipping within the United Kingdom costs: £3.50 regardless of how many garments are purchased

WE SHIP WITHIN 12 - 48 hours of receiving completed payment, depending on the date and time you paid. Your parcel should arrive between 1 and 3 days after you place your order and will require a signature on delivery. We will email you when your parcel has been shipped and keep you up to date with the progress of your order.

Due to our efforts to ensure that you receive your order as quickly and accurately as possible, we are usually unable to cancel or make changes to your order after you have placed it with us. In most cases the items are packed and shipped out to you within 12 - 48 hours of us receiving your order & payment. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please email us.

Some postal addresses in Northern Ireland, some offshore islands and some remote areas of the United Kingdom may not be covered by our delivery services and we may not be able to arrange delivery of some items to such addresses. You will be notified of this and refunded.

All items are subject to stock availability.

When we deliver your items to you, the goods will need to be signed for to acknowledge that you have received them.

Please ensure when placing your order that you tick the "Send address to recipient" box, otherwise you will not receive your order!
Please ensure when completing the payment process, that the name and address on you bank or credit card statement exactly the address you give when placing your order

VAT is already included in the prices shown on our site. We accept United Kingdom Credit, Delta, Solo, and Switch Cards via our secure server. Please note; if paying by cheque or postal order, we will not remove garments from our website until we receive your payment.

Terms and Conditions

Courtesans Closet is an Online Boutique and we stock Unusual, Unique & Obscure Designer Garments. For this reason all our garments are in very limited quantity & supply. We only stock what we can supply immediately.

Our Terms and Conditions are applicable every time you access our website and / or order goods from our website. Before completing an order you will be required to show that you have read, understood and accepted the following Terms and Conditions.

Terms & Conditions can seem ambiguous. Rest assured we are professional, responsible, reasonable & honest folk. The Terms and Conditions are in place to protect your consumer rights and to protect us from the very 'odd' dishonest person.

We are only a Cyber-Nanu-Second away; email us with any questions before you buy. We're helpful & we won't tell you something will fit or suit your body shape if we know - it won't.

Email Fitting Service

We offer an email fitting service - and it works! We have an adjustable tailors dummy or mannequin, so you can email us your measurements; Tell us your body shape, height, bust, cup size, waist, hips in inches. Please take your measurements whilst wearing good fitting underwear, with no slack in the measuring tape. We will adjust the tailors dummy to the measurements you give us, put the garment on the dummy and hey presto, we can tell straight away you if the garment will fit or suit you before you buy. We want you to shop with us again, so we'll take care of you & your business.

Your Custom

Your sanity and satisfaction are our top priorities. We want & value your business and we want you to shop with us again. Since we feel your apprehension when buying clothing online, we provide careful information & measurements to ensure you make the right purchase and one that is going to fit.

We operate a fair return policy (see below) however, a large amount of responsibility lies with the customer when shopping online. Make sure you carefully read the size charts and the actual measurements of the garment, not just the dress size, as each garment is different and measures differently. Only a few folk have regular measurements, if you are in any doubt whether it will fit, simple - do not buy it! Email us, ask us, we know what we are doing & we are here to ensure your absolute satisfaction.

Because we offer careful measurements & an email fitting service there should be no reason for costly returns. All our garments are checked carefully when they arrive & leave our premises. However should you want to return something because it does not fit or is unsuitable – please email us first & let us know so we will know to expect the parcel and follow the return guidelines below.

Measure yourself accordingly, and check the measurements of the garment in the size chart so that you're satisfied with your order before you purchase. Check the colour, size, and quantity of each item in your cart to ensure your order is as you wanted it.

We will always refund monies on goods that are faulty in manufacture, if we cannot replace them.

Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with an item please contact us at sales@courtesanscloset.com and return to us it within 7 days of the date you received it for an exchange or a refund. The item/s must be returned within 7 days from the date the parcel was delivered to you.

How to Return / Exchange Items

Send the item/s back to us with the packing slip that came in your parcel. The packing slip has our return address on it as well as your account details, full name, address, phone number, e-mail address and details of the item/s you are returning. Write the reason for your return and whether you want a refund or an exchange. Please insure the package with the delivery company and request proof of delivery or signature confirmation, as we are not responsible if your return package is lost in the post.

ANY GARMENTS BEING RETURNED MUST BE IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION. No exceptions. We know when a garment has been worn or washed. If there are any whiffs, marks, or any body particles from any mammal, animal, or vegetable this will result in a non-returnable, non refundable garment. Perhaps a little harsh, but even the good lord would be surprised at what people try to return sometimes. We cannot sell or restock any garment that is not brand spanking new, original unworn condition. If we receive your garment back and it has obviously been worn or your cat slept on it (yes this has happened) it will be immediately sent back to you and you will be charged for the shipping fees. In short, you must return the garment exactly as you received it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

To Re-Cap;

1. Send us an email at sales@courtesanscloset.com and let us know what and why you are returning the item/s. We need to know in advance to expect your return parcel, and if you’d like to exchange item/s – we need to know to put them aside for you.

2. The packing slip that came with your order has our address on it please make sure this is in the return parcel together with your return as we need your full name, address, phone number, e-mail address. If this information is missing, it will delay the processing of your exchange or refund.

3. Insure or register the return package and/or request a proof of delivery or signature confirmation! If you post your return item without the appropriate precautions we are not responsible if your parcel is lost or damaged in the post.

4. Return the item within 7 days in it’s original unworn condition

Restocking Fee

In certain instances we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, for example if you order the same garment in three different sizes and return two of the same garment for a refund. Or if you continually purchase items only to return them, you'll get our goat up! The restocking fee is equal to 30% of the value of the returned goods, we will notify you in writing of our intention to charge a restocking fee and give you the opportunity to exchange the goods instead.

Postage or shipping costs are not refundable
